Thailand through her eyes

Beach dance, Samui Island

I have just been back home after a  fascination journey in the Southern Thailand. Thailand tourism invited 33 professional women photographers from around the world to join the Thailand through Her Eyes 2016 campaign. I enjoyed uniquely local Thai experiences; such as, the local communities’ way of life in Lake Chiew Larn Lake, fisher men villages and local art and craft. We also had a splendid time in Samui island chasing the sunsets.

Some of the renowned participating photographers were  sent on different regions of Thailand- USA’s Alison Wright, Qatar’s Andrea Buenafe, China’s Zhang Xiao Mei; Japan’s Asaoka Megumi, Indonesia’s Veronica Dhanito and Australia’s Heather Marie Udy. It was a great way to bring the women from different countries under one single roof  and share the ideas about work, empowerment and the need of working together as a community . Here are the postcards from my journey in the Southern region of Thailand for you and more stories and articles are on your way 🙂
